| JIB PROJECT Previous Gallery Next This is the tilt drive motor. It is hanging on a small plate that can move a bit, and is tensioned by the spring. I wanted it to be able to slip if it was really forced to prevent it from damaging the gears. The motor mount is mounted using rubber washers to isolate the sound as much as possible, but that is causing it to hang slightly crooked. It drives fine, but I would like to find a better mount. I would also like to make a small insulated cover for the motor to further reduce the sound and protect it. |
